In my practice, I understand that life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, leaving you uncertain and searching for guidance. As a dedicated psychotherapist, I am here to help you navigate these difficulties, offering a compassionate and safe space to explore your thoughts and emotions. Together, we will uncover the strength and resilience within you (or your child), paving the way toward healing and personal growth.

I earned my undergraduate degree in education and a graduate degree in counseling from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. I also traveled to Barcelona, Spain, and completed a study abroad program in Teaching English as a Second Language. I have more than ten years of experience working in school and university settings and have worked with a diverse range of clients.

I currently specialize in anxiety disorders, depression, children & adolescents, stress management, relationship & marital issues, grief & loss, self-esteem issues, trauma, life transitions, and personal growth.

My approach to counseling is eclectic, integrating the practicality of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the mindfulness of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), the action-Jonoriented strategies of Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and the empathetic understanding of Carl Rogers’ theories which includes fostering an environment of trust and growth. I also enjoy engaging in play & art therapy with children & adolescents.

I strive to provide the highest care to my clients. My approach is rooted in evidence – based practices, tailored to meet your individual needs.
