The feeling of being stuck in times of suffering can feel overwhelming. I am a strong believer that with the appropriate support and resources, that overwhelming feeling of being stuck can diminish, leaving place for hope and healing. I have a passion for helping couples, children, adolescents, adults, and elderly overcome their struggles to achieve a life of functioning and peace. I have extensive experience assisting a diverse population. I have worked with refugees, juvenile delinquents, victims of war trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, relationships, anger management, stress, work stress, financial stress, and parenting.
I received my Master of Arts degree from the Michigan School of Professional Psychology in 2003 after receiving my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan. I have been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Through my extensive work experience, I have found it best to work with each individual to determine their own needs to determine the approach best to help achieve their goals. Working together with each individual is significant in helping one feel safe in order to work toward healing.
