The trial and error of navigating school stress, family/peer relationships, and normal development can be a particularly difficult time for young people and their families. This stress can lead to feelings of anxiety, depression, self-doubt, and loneliness; children and teens may act-out, isolate themselves, or engage in self-harm behaviors. It is my goal to provide children/teens and their families with the support, information, skills, and resources necessary for the client to navigate this difficult stage and develop into a successful and well-adjusted young adult.
I primarily work with children, adolescents, and their families. I utilize a research-based, strength-based approach, integrating a variety of therapeutic techniques appropriate to each client’s unique needs. I enjoy working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, school concerns, grief/loss, and those identifying as LGBTQIA+.
Deciding to seek therapy can be daunting by itself, as is the task of finding the right therapist for your child/family’s needs. It is important to me that every client and family I work with feels their unique needs are heard and they benefit from our time together. I’m here to help your family move toward health, healing, and happiness.
