Everyone’s journey is unique. What works for one person might not necessarily work for you. As someone with a passion for art, I use creativity and originality to guide the process to improve your emotional health through self-expression, no matter where you are in life. With 6 years of experience as a Social Worker in outpatient therapy, medical settings, and community mental health, I have worked with many populations from various walks of life, including: children, adolescents, families, adults and older adults.
I received my Bachelor of Arts Psychology and my Master of Social Work, both from Wayne State University. I am committed to empowering individuals with the tools, training, and knowledge they need to perform optimally day in and day out. Through the use of evidence-based strategies, I am able to help individuals with a variety of performance skills, ranging from mindset and motivation, to improving focus and concentration, handling performance errors, imagery, developing confidence, and mental toughness. I use a client-centered, humanistic approach, focusing on aspects of Existentialism, Mindfulness, Family-Systems, Mind-Body, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, while ensuring careful consideration of cultural concerns and practices. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma-related diagnoses, and other life experiences.
Therapy looks different for all individuals, and we will work together to create a plan to reach your goals. I enjoy my work and deeply respect the therapeutic relationship.
